Nachdem Toyota und Nissan bei ihren Fahrzeugen inzwischen fortschrittliche stufenlose CVT Getriebe einsetzen, zieht nun auch Honda nach. Hier ein Statement von Honda Deutschland auf Facebook

F: Hallo Honda Team, wie man liest, kommt in den USA für den Civic ab 2014 ein von Honda neu entwickeltes CVT Getriebe zum Einsatz. Kommt das auch für den europäischen Civic?

A: Das CVT Getriebe ist Bestandteil der neuen Honda Motor- und Antriebsgeneration Earth Dreams Technology, die sukzessive in alle Honda Modelle Einzug halten wird. Weitere Details zur Verfügbarkeit gibt es zu gegebener Zeit direkt von uns.

Gab es doch beim Jazz auch schon?!

Das stimmt schon. Bisher gab es ja ein automatisiertes Schaltgetriebe "i-Shift", eine 5 Stufen Wandlerautomatik oder ein CVT je nach Fahrzeug.

Im Zuge der Earth Dreams Technology Entwicklung, ersetzt das CVT alle bisherigen Automatik Versionen bei allen Fahrzeugen und ist damit das Pendant zum Toyota Multidrive-S

Ich bin auch irritiert, weil genau das in ersten Berichten zum neuen Fit/Jazz 2 zu lesen war.

Also jetzt nochmal zum mitschreiben

1.) Im Zuge der Earth Dreams Technologie entwickelte Honda sowohl Hybridkomponenten als auch konventionelle Komponenten

2.) Die Hybrid Komponenten nennen sich "Sport Hybrid" und umfassen:
- i-DCD (1 Elektromotor mit Doppelkupplungsgetriebe -> Honda Fit Hybrid)
- i-MMD (2 Elektromotoren mit E-CVT -> Honda Accord Hybrid)
- SH-AWD (3 Elektromotoren mit Doppelkupplungsgetriebe -> Honda NSX GT)

3.) Die Konventionellen Komponenten enthalten eine Reihe von neuen DOHC Motoren mit Direkteinspritzung, gekühlter Abgasrückführung und Atkinson Prinzip. In den Automatikvarianten kommen dabei neu entwickelte CVT Getriebe zum Einsatz

Three CVT structures for mini, compact, and mid-size vehicle classes are newly developed to be adopted for a variety of engine models.
Reinforced belt is used to realize a structure for which a wide ratio range can be set.
Implementation of analysis technology over the contact behavior between the belt and pulley, and a high-precision hydraulic control system allows for continual optimization of hydraulic pressure to the pulley under a variety of driving conditions, contributing to improved fuel efficiency.
Use of an electronic oil pump to realize an idle stop system with high response contributes significantly to improved usability and fuel efficiency.
"G-Design Shift", a new coordinated control system for shift transmission, throttle, and hydraulic control responds quickly to driver demands and realizes an exhilarating, sporty drive with superior acceleration.
In the mini-vehicle class, a control mechanism and innovations in axle placement to reduce the engine size lengthwise, while a reduction in parts by simplifying the transmission casing structure helps realize a lightweight and compact body.
For the compact and mid-size classes, in addition to the reductions in size and weight, transmission efficiency was greatly improved by expanding the ratio range to achieve fuel efficiency improvements of 5%*3 and 10%*3 compared to the conventional CVT and comparable 5ATs, respectively.
